Talk of the Block

 

Join us as we talk Torino! These quick tales of impact take Impact Week’s major themes, from the Triple Crisis to Impact by Design, and roots them in the real with a curated set of experiences from Torino’s changemakers.

Attendees get a city-wide tour of social and environmental impact, putting an emphasis on local organisations whose innovations are worthy of scale.

What does signing the Climate City Contract mean? Who’s driving positive change for Torino’s health and wellbeing? How will the city's youth gain the skills they need? What allies came together for Torino Social Impact?

The triple crisis 

 By signing the Climate City Contract, the City of Torino is among the 100 European cities committed to reducing emissions by 2030 to achieve climate neutrality, building on a solid context of private public policies and practices on sustainability.

Take care

 More than 200 social economy actors in Torino are working to reduce inequalities in health and well-being and contribute to improving local prosperity. Learn about their impactful efforts and how data can amplify their impact.  

Impact cities 

 Torino Social Impact: an alliance of 300 companies, public and private institutions that have joined forces to foster the local ecosystem of the social economy and impact finance.

Impact works

 In Italy alone, 3 million of young people are neither in education, employment, nor training. Here is an overview of the Torino ecosystem's actions to reduce NEET.

Impact by design

 Torino plays a key role in the design history and boasts a dynamic ecosystem that nurtures innovation in impact-driven projects.
