Curation Process

Selection of proposals:12 July |
We will then internally make a first selection and explore where we can possibly merge sessions to avoid duplication of sessions and to allow for as many members to co-host a session. By 12 July we will let you know whether your session has been selected or merged.We selected 39 sessions out of 127 proposals! Here they all are. |

Refined proposal:14 September |
Over the summer and in the beginning of September you will have time to refine and complete your proposal. By 14 September we would like to receive a further developed proposal. Our communication team will then start drafting a short description for your session. Of course, you can provide us with your feedback and edits. By the end of September, we aim to have the largest part of our programme online. We will then also communicate your room and timeslot allocation and send you a form to indicate your logistical needs and we will ask you to inform us about your interactive format and script. |

Important to Know
Make it right |
We put the ‘act’ in impact. We therefore encourage you to have an interactive format that stimulates participants to engage in the conversation. Here you can find a number of suggestions for possible formats. |

It's personal |
We highly value meeting each other in person. As such we don’t allow for hybrid formats. |
||
You're in charge |
When you (co-)host a session, you are in charge of the organisation, for the moderation/facilitation and the script of the session. There are no Impact Europe moderators or facilitators. |
||
No free tickets |
Speaker and moderator tickets need to be covered by you. This can be done either by using one of your free member tickets or by using Impact Europe members discount code. |
Rooms & Formats
During Impact Week we will have 3 types of rooms and 4 types of sessions. In the call for proposals, you can indicate your first preference. We will do our utmost best to accommodate your preferences. The team will share their selection of the sessions on 12 July and inform you about your room and time slot allocation in early September.
Thursday |
On Thursday we will have impact stage conversations all day. There will be three stages that day (Impact Together Stage, Impact Heroes Stage and Accelerate Impact Stage). Most of these conversations are curated by the Impact Europe team and our partners. But we have few slots reserved for your breakthrough ideas and breathtaking speakers!Impact Stage conversations – 45 mins – max 5 slotsThese will be 45 mins each and will allow for only 3 speakers. We have only a few sessions available for these conversations. |

Friday |
Friday is our workshop and interaction day. You have 3 options:Intimate Workshops – 75 mins | 30 people | 10 slotsThese are smaller rooms that host up to 30 people. The rooms are flexible in set up and all have a projectors or screen. We have 10 intimate workshop slots.Interactive Workshops – 75 mins | 50-80 people | 15 slotsThese rooms host up to 80 people. They are all flexible in set up and provide the ability to work in smaller groups. The rooms all have a projector or screen. We have 15 slots for interactive workshops.Impact Stage Workshops – 75 mins | 100+ people | 5 slotsWith these sessions, you can host most people. However here too we encourage you to be as interactive as possible and engage your audience. We have 5 slots for impact stage workshops. |
