Revolving Impact FundsLandscape Resilience Fund An interactive panel exploring sustainable funding for the ‘missing middle' of innovative climate solutions that are too big for microfinance, but too risky for commercial banks. This discussion is for an audience interested in learning how revolving impact funds powered by grants can - without the constraints of providing financial returns to investors - take calculated risks and finance high-potential solutions that deliver impact for communities, conservation and commerce. Drawing on the panel's experience of setting up and managing impact funds, the event will address the benefits of revolving impact funds, such as the catalytic impact of philanthropy in mobilising commercial investment and cover some of the challenges, such as identifying investible solutions that deliver benefits for communities and biodiversity.

Disruptive Finance for ImpactKOIS There has never been as much capital available and invested in enterprises all over the world. There is also a clear shift towards financing impactful solutions for people and planet. And yet, one of the key obstacles for social entrepreneurs remains finding capital to finance the scale-up of their businesses or projects. The mismatch is evident, and the objective of this session will be to examine the two sides of the equation, looking closely at both the scaling challenges social entrepreneurs face and the challenges of investors and funders in finding investable projects. The session will begin by mapping both sets of challenges. Then, in part two, we'll identify potential financing solutions, drawing on learnings from a diverse panel of speakers. We aim at creating a constructive dialogue, helping to find solutions that reconcile both interests and bring capital to support and scale solutions. |
